From your first breath of fresh Mediterranean Sea air and the first sip of your welcome drink, you’ll find both of our centres great places to relax. You’ll feel in your element right away, we’re sure!
Both centres are in great beachfront locations and most of our rooms have views over the sea or the surrounding mountains. You're sure to enjoy the bed-to-beach setup, the enchanting landscaped gardens, our on-site restaurants and bars and the attractive outdoor swimming pools.
In the idyllic but lively fishing village and watersports hub of Vassiliki, choose from a selection of authentically Greek, friendly family-run hotels and a number of self-catering studios and apartments.
In Syvota we work with a somewhat larger and so comfortable three-star hotel that we're absolutely sure you're going to love! The village of Syvota is a great place to stay and the entire place – from the gorgeous swimming pool to the tucked-away corners where you can sneak away with a book and a cup of tea – invites you into a world of calm and relaxation.
Both Vassiliki and Syvota have been built by nature as the ultimate place to get away from it all and into a magical world of fresh air and lush landscapes. It’s truly a delight for the senses; the nearby orange and olive groves provide tranquillity and peace for cycle rides or walks. The locals are warm and welcoming and positively delight in showing off the beauty and culture of their land. You could not find a better place to switch off and explore new experiences than in these gorgeous surroundings.
The beach and pool bar restaurants in Vassiliki provide relaxing retreats and offer a range of tasty, homemade fare. This includes delicious fresh salads, Mediterranean snacks and meals from breakfast through to early evening. Because we do not price our holidays to include meals, you are free to enjoy the flavour and variety of the local tavernas, bars and cafes in the harbour, which is just a five-minute stroll away.
The beach and pool bars are the focal points for our casual social evenings, which include chilled out cocktail nights by the pool and a weekly barbeque with an eclectic mix of live music for your entertainment. We share these areas with Wildwind Sailing Holidays, whose chilled approach fits well with our own. This means it is very easy to make new friends on you holidays in Vassiliki.

Our Syvota holidays offer the chance to experience local traditions and a relaxed pace of life; the friendly locals are famous for their hospitality. Our hotel, Mega Ammos, is set in lavish gardens and is uniquely positioned right next to the beach of Mega Ammos.
The village is a fifteen-minute stroll from the hotel, though a small trenaki runs each day from the village along the road, connecting the hotel and a series of very pretty beaches. Inexpensive taxis are in plentiful supply, too.
Hotel Mega Ammos is set within lavish gardens and is uniquely positioned right next to the beach, which is also called Mega Ammos. This beach has three great fish restaurants and a number of tavernas and can be reached by a pretty stone path connecting the beach directly to the hotel. The hotel rooms are of a slightly higher standard than those in Vassiliki and they have been recently renovated.
There’s a pleasant swimming pool, a fitness room and a restaurant on site. All rooms are en-suite and have air conditioning. One advantage over the hotels in Vassiliki is that breakfast at the hotel is already included in your holiday.
The Melas Hotel is run by the Melas family: Ilias, Eleni and Ourania. Like all our hotels, it is just a few metres from the beach. Most rooms have a sea view and all have air conditioning, are en-suite and are equipped with a fridge as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel has two floors, with the top floor offering the best views. A recent addition to the hotel offers slightly better appointed rooms, but without direct views of the sea.
There is a good-sized swimming pool with sunbeds to lounge around in, surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and the family run bar and on site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and snacks. Eleni Melas takes pride in the quality of her home-made cooking, much of which is sourced from her garden. Our cocktail nights with live acoustic music take place every Thursday around the pool, a great opportunity to make new friends!
The Kavadias hotel is run by Nikos, Effy and Kryssa Kavadias. It is a simple but comfortable place to stay and most rooms have either a view of the sea, the pool or the surrounding mountains. Over the past years, the Kavadias bathrooms have been completely refurbished - Nikos has done a great job! All rooms have air conditioning, are en-suite and are equipped with a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.
As the hub of the social scene of your holiday, the Kavadias Hotel has a fantastic view of the sea and it’s a great place to watch all the action on and off the water. The beach is also the perfect location for our Tuesday BBQ, usually with a rather eclectic mix of live music and dancing.
The Akti Studios & Apartments are in a quiet location, about 100 metres from our centre. These apartments, recently refurbished, offer a peaceful setting close to the beach. Each apartment includes a small kitchenette and en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and garden views. Some of the ground floor apartments are ideally suited for families, so make sure to ask if you’re bringing the kids.
An X in Greek is pronounced as a K, so these studios and apartments should be pronounced as Kristina. We offer two ground floor studios with one bedroom and kitchenette and distant sea views, as well as a larger first floor one bedroom apartment with a lounge space that can be converted into a twin-bedded room. There also is a friendly but compact bungalow that is capable of accommodating two adults and two children. The gliding door separates two sleeping areas, there’s a mini-kitchenette and a pleasant seating area in the garden.
Xristina Studios & Apartments is only available in peak season
A new and limited option we offer is a stay in a luxury villa overlooking the bay of Vassiliki. Built by two Dutch ex-pats, we offer three spectacular two-bedroom tower villas, all of which are really in a league of their own! As you’d expect, all villas have their own private pools and sport absolutely brilliant views of Vassiliki bay, all the way across to the islands of Ithaca and Cephalonia. A stay in these villas is highly sought after, so please contact us early in the season if you are interested.
